Can our business telephony run through Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Qteco implements and manages Microsoft Teams Phone and Cisco Webex as a full business telephony solution, including PBX functionality and keeping your existing numbers. Your people call from the workplace they already use — on laptop, desk phone and mobile.

What is NIS2?

NIS2 is the European directive for network and information security (2022/2555), implemented in the Netherlands through the Cyberbeveiligingswet. Organisations in scope must demonstrably manage risks, report incidents within 24 hours and anchor board-level responsibility — with personal liability for directors in case of negligence.

What is a SOC?

A SOC (Security Operations Center) is the team plus tooling that monitors your IT environment 24/7 for suspicious behaviour, assesses alerts and intervenes immediately. Qteco combines the SOC with AI detection, so incidents are stopped before they have impact.

What is EDR?

EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) is advanced protection on laptops, servers and mobile devices that not only blocks malware but also recognises suspicious behaviour, isolates infected devices and rolls back damage. EDR is standard in every Qteco workplace package.

What is a vCISO?

A vCISO (virtual Chief Information Security Officer) is a senior security lead on demand: expertise that directs your security policy, risk management and compliance, without the cost of a full-time CISO. At Qteco part of the Scale-up/Enterprise package.

What does Tier III/IV mean for datacenters?

Tier III and Tier IV are the highest availability classes for datacenters (99.98% to 99.995% uptime), with redundant power, cooling and connectivity. Qteco runs your sovereign cloud and backups exclusively in Dutch Tier III/IV datacenters.

What is MCP (Model Context Protocol)?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that securely connects AI assistants to systems and data. Through the Qteco MCP server, your AI agents — such as Claude — can create tickets, query assets and consult monitoring, with OAuth and granular permissions.
